Abstract

This community service program aims to improve the financial management capacity of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Petanjungan Village, Petarukan District, Pemalang Regency, Central Java. Many MSMEs in the area still manage finances traditionally without proper bookkeeping, resulting in difficulties in measuring business performance, accessing financing, and making decisions. The method used was participatory action through counseling, training, and mentoring, focusing on financial literacy, simple bookkeeping, cash flow management, and cost efficiency. The results showed that MSME participants experienced increased understanding and skills in preparing simple financial reports, improved awareness of separating business and personal finances, and better ability to analyze financial performance. This activity not only provided practical skills but also built awareness of the importance of financial transparency for business sustainability. The program demonstrates that structured assistance can empower MSMEs to be more resilient and competitive.
