Abstract

The target micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) is Rizki Berkah fish cracker UMKM, located in Sarwodadi Village, Comal District, Pemalang Regency. However, the weaknesses often faced by MSMEs are low financial management skills, such as irregular transaction recording, mixing personal and business finances, and difficulty in preparing simple financial reports. This community service activity aims to optimize financial management skills for business owners of Rizki Berkah fish cracker products. The methods used include observation, training, mentoring, and evaluation. Observations are conducted to identify the initial state of financial management. Training is provided in the form of counseling on the importance of financial record-keeping and hands-on practice in preparing a simple cash book. Further mentoring is provided to ensure consistent implementation of financial recordkeeping, and evaluation is conducted to assess the improvement of business actors' skills. The results of the activity demonstrated an increase in understanding and skills in financial management. MSMEs began to become accustomed to recording daily transactions, separating personal and business finances, and preparing simple reports. With these improvements, the Rizki Berkah Fish Crackers MSME has a stronger foundation for managing cash flow, planning working capital, and sustainably developing its business.
